Residents and staff at Covenant Living at the Shores enjoyed a magical evening this past month during the Argosy Christmas Ship Festival waterfront stop at our campus. Guests gathered by the lakeside for a 20-minute choir performance, watching from the warmth of fire pits and under a cozy tent while sipping hot chocolate and enjoying cookies.
The sparkling lights of the campus Christmas displays set the perfect backdrop as Santa, Mrs. Claus, and Resident Life Director Roxanne Stickney spread holiday cheer to everyone in attendance. 🎄
The Argosy Christmas Ship Festival has been a cherished Northwest tradition since 1949, bringing festive music and shimmering lights to waterfront communities. We’re so grateful to have shared in this time-honored celebration with our wonderful residents and staff! ✨ ... See MoreSee Less
We are proud to share that Covenant Living at the Shores was nominated for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Team of the Year for the U.S. North Region! This region spans 17 states, including the Pacific Northwest, and we were one of only five teams nominated for this prestigious award.
For the past 10 years, our residents and employees have come together to host an annual breast cancer awareness walk on campus, showing their dedication and commitment to the fight against cancer. While the winning team was from Kansas, this nomination is a true recognition of the heart, teamwork, and impact our community has made in supporting the American Cancer Society.
Thank you to everyone who has participated, supported, and shared in this mission with us. Together, we make a difference. 💖We’re proud to share that Covenant Living at the Shores made a meaningful impact during Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 💕 Our team, led by employee and breast cancer survivor Roxanne Stickney, raised over $9,900 for the American Cancer Society through the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event at Gasworks Park in Seattle on October 19.
Thanks to Roxanne’s dedication and the generosity of our community, we were honored to be recognized as the top fundraising team this year. Roxanne has organized walks at Covenant Living at the Shores for 10 years, inspiring us all to help make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.
Together, we’re spreading hope and support for everyone affected by this disease. 🌸
